Our range of NDT Inspection Techniques cover all areas as required to completed details inspection of Mobil Offshore Drilling Units. We offer Visual, MPI, DPI, Eddy Current and various Ultrasonic methods from convention UT to A and B Scan Tubular Scans, as well as Phased Array. We also offer Paint and Weld Inspections along with Proof Load Testing.
ROPE ACCESS SERVICES
Our range of Industrial rope access services are a safe and efficient method of working at height where ropes and associated equipment are used to gain access to and from the work place, where various services such as Inspection, Welding, Painting and Electrical work scopes can be carried out.
LIFTING EQUIPMENT SURVEYS
We carry out detailed Lifting equipment inspection surveys to the complete range of offshore lifting equipment and accessories, ranging from Shackles and slings to Cranes and BOP Transporters.
Detailed through examinations are carried out in accordance with local and international standards, such as LOLER, NORSOK, OGP, API, EN and BS standards. As well as our clients own internal procedures for the management, service and inspection of their own equipment.
HOISTING/HANDLING TOOL INSPECTIONS
Our specialised technicians are fully versant in the inspections required on Rotary Hoist and Handling Tools. From rotary connections on the BHA to Crown Block and Traveling block inspections and all other associated equipment; and in accordance with the various API standards, such as 4G, 7G, 7L, 8B, 8C and NS1.
DROPPED OBJECT SURVEYS
Dropped Object surveys and inspections are critical in the offshore industry; more importantly is dynamic drops where equipment is evaluated for potential dropped occurrence from its operating environment and not just a routine inspection. Rig Surveys lead the way with a portable IT checklist for our clients allowing our comprehensive and detailed surveys to be followed up by regular in service dropped checks by the clients between surveys.
WALL THICKNESS SURVEYS
Whether Low Pressure or High Pressure Pipework, Pressure Vessels or Hull tanks/voids require detailed Ultrasonic gauging is required to evaluate and corrosion or wash are evident. Rigs Surveys carried out this service regularly and currently enhancing our report offering with the aid of Surface Scan profile reports.
Detailed Derrick inspections are carried out in accordance with API RP 4G, offering comprehensive reports with details of condition and any maintenance requirements, we can also do Bolt Surveys checking for tightness and condition.
Rig Surveys carry out full Special Periodic surveys to DNV and ABS requirements on all Mobile Offshore Drilling Units, Utilising our range of NDT disciplines in conjunction with our rope access qualified Inspectors. We complete all in-service inspection programme requirements in a safe, fast and efficient method.
Our detailed survey reports of the Hull, Tanks and Critical connections will ensure you are fully aware of the condition of your MODU.
Our RIG IRM “Inspection, Repair and Maintenance” services vary from Industrial Cleaning to Blasting and Painting, Welding and Fabrication and Rigging and Engineering Services, We can assist with project supervision as well as project management and project roll out from a small in-service work scope to a more comprehensive shipyard work scope.
